Mendelssohn, Felix - Midsummer Night's Dream for Flute Quintet

This arrangement by Gudrun Hinze was created for performance by her flute quintet, Quintessenz. A suite of five movements (Notturno; Scherzo; Song of the Faeries; Dance of the Clowns; Finale) has been created from the incidental music to Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," including three instrumental movements and two which include vocal soli, choir and orchestra. Instrumentation:  3 C Flutes (2nd and 3rd Flutes double on Piccolo), Alto Flute, Bass Flute
